Activities Catch a wave!
On Maui, you get two worlds in one. There's as much going on
underwater as above it. It's a swimmers paradise! Grab your
snorkel and explore anywhere along the shores of the Kihei,
Wailea or the Makena area. You're sure to see an abundance
of
colorful, tropical fish & other life. Or grab your scuba
tank for a deeper exploration. Take a boat to the popular Molokini
crater. With surfing, boogie-boarding, boating, whale-watching,
fishing, kayaking, para-sailing, swimming - you'll never be
bored in the waters of Maui.
Land
Activities Bike down the 10,000 foot Haleakala Volcano, take
in 18 holes of golf on one of the first class Wailea golf courses
with breathtaking views, hike in the lush Iao Valley, ride horses
in pastoral upcountry, take the long and scenic drive to Hana,
see the Seven Sacred Pools, or simply take a few steps to the
new tennis courts just outside the master lanai. Of course,
there's always lounging poolside at the award-winning, tropical,
waterfall pool with sand-bottom jacuzzi just off the condo's
large, slate lanai. Try walking, running, or beachcombing on
the 42 miles of fabulous beaches - which include white, black
and even red sand beaches. The options are endless...
Shopping A shopper's paradise is within walking distance
at the brand new Wailea Shopping Village. The beautiful outdoor
shopping area has everything from Tiffany's to Gap. Whatever
your shopping desires, they can be filled here while taking
in ocean views. Need a break while shopping? Grab one of those
fun umbrella drinks at one of the many fine dining spots. Two
other great
shopping spots are the Old Whaling port of Lahaina, or the
windsurfing town of Paia.
Sunset Sunset is a magical time of day on
Maui. As if to bid the day farewell, visitors and locals alike,
are often seen
heading to the beaches of Kihei around this time of day. With
it's ideal location, the town of Kihei is made for fabulous
sunsets. The ritual of sunset is easy to grow accustomed to,
and a goes perfectly with a glass of wine. Bring your camera.
Dining Maui boasts some of the best, award-winning restaurants
in Hawaii - many within walking distance of the condo. Both
Kihei and Wailea offer tastes from around the world: sushi,
Thai, Chinese, Indian, and of course a plethora of fresh seafood.
Whether it's a romantic, candlelit dinner you're looking for,
or a quick bite to eat at the beach, you'll be able to find
just the right meal to hit the spot.
